Hi,

Is the NTE-876 fully compatible with the LM3909, i.e. can I replace the LM3909
by the NTE876 without changing the schematics and component values?

Thanks for the info,

Nicolas

At THAT exhorbitant price, I'd order overseas
[ http://www.crownhill.co.uk/itm00178.htm ]

They charge One UK Pound, and with today's exchange rate that's $1.47 each,
so any postage is MORE than covered ! The NTE-876 may prove a suitable
alternative at well.

Worldwide, there seems to be current stock, but NOT in the US !

I just compared the datasheets on these two parts, and yes,
NTE-876 looks to be a drop-in replacement for the LM3909.
    The specs were identical.

According to the dox, it is a pin-for-pin replacement. I didn't look any
further than that. The data sheet is available from NTE.
