What is the best way to convert a current to a voltage? Ineed to read
current draw with a ADC. Thanks for any help.

Simpliest way is to use a small value resistance in series with the
current and measure the voltage drop across it (V=IR).

Of course, you don't state what current range you need to measure, so
make sure you use a resistor capable of handling the power it needs
    to dissapate.

    Use a Dallas semiconductor DS2760.

In serial with wire you need to put some resistance and on both ends you
will have VOLTAGE. Depend of resistance voltage will be small or high.
For instance if you need to convert 4-20 mA current you need to put 500 OHM
and on resistor you can measure voltage between 2 -10 V.
I think this will help you.
