Might be fun to do some "formation" flying of two vertol helicopters
is there a plastic kit around for the vertol ?

I then need to vac-u-form a light weight plastic sheet for a body

1) anyone know where I can get a plastic vertol heli for a model ?

2) any one have any hints for vacuum forming a body?

thanks

richard

    Richard -

I was too quick - here it is:

    http://www.mag-web.com/rc-modeler/store/vacform.html

"An illustrated guide to small scale vacuum forming you can do in your
    home. 129 pages. $12.95 Order Now! "

    Richard,

Have a look at a book called Do-It-Yourself Vacuum Forming by
Douglas Walsh. I bought it through Classic Motorbooks
(motorbooks.com) several years ago. I just checked, and they
still carry it for $12.95. A quick search also turned up.....

    http://www.tapplastics.com/fiberglass/books_videos/140_vacuum.html

The book is geared towards the home hobbyist on a budget. If
I knew where my copy was I'd gladly give it to you, but I'm afraid
    it's somewhere in storage-never-never-land. :-(

Good luck, and keep us posted with frequent updates on your progress!

    Regards,
    Steve
