I'm looking for some suggestions on how to use this LCD module with the
stamp to display data.
I picked up some surplus 6" 640x480 monochrome LCD displays (w/backlight).
These are Torisan (Tottosi-Sanyo) units #LM-DK55-22NSK with a offbeat serial
interface. By searching the internet for the model number I managed to> >
find the PIN out info (but no power specs):
1 FLM Display cycle
2 M Signal for S.C. driving
3 Disp Off (H=on, L=off)
4 CL1 CL1 Latch for serial data in shift regs.
5 VSS ground
6 CL2 Clock for shifting serial data
7 VSS ground
8-9-10-11 Data
12 VDD Power for logic +5v
13 VSS ground
14 VEE Power for LC driver +38v
16 V0 Voltage for LC driver (hmm what's this?)
Don't know what the clock speed that's acceptable.
No info on the backlight power needed, does not apear to thave a backlight
inverter built in, but I think I may swap out the floresent tube for white
LEDs anyway.
So does anyone know of an interface board I could use or have suggestions
where to look to find an application note on such a thing. Hints and
suggestions are welcome too. I was thinking of using the panel to display
position information of a X-Y-Z motion device.
Thanks!
