pause wiggle???

Has anyone ever seen this sort of thing?:
I have a bs2 taking a 120Hz pulse in, then pausing for x ms (x can =anywhere
from 0 to 8) at each pulse, then doing a pulseout for a fixed width, say 50
or 100 us.
On the scope, the input pulses are nice and steady (Thanks, Beau), but
pulseouts dance rhytmically left to right, repeating what seems like 100 ms
wiggles.
What might be causing this, and how can I get these output pulses to stay
still on the time line?
Any clues?

If you haven't loaded your program into the Stamp, it sounds like it may be
the test program which can be found in new Stamps. It ripples each of the
output pins 0 => 15 and back again.
