Basic Stamp Dawn Simulator

I need help with the programming code for a dawn simulator using the Basic
Stamp 2. The Stamp has a zero crossing detection circuit as an input and will
send the output to a triac which will step up the voltage to the light
gradually. I need help writing the program that will send a signal to the
triac everytime zero crossing is detected that will gradually step up the
voltage to the light.
