Security - PIR sensors 12VDC - X10 commands

I just started with the Basic Stamp 2SX Starter Kit and would like to
use the stamp for the following setup:
use a photolight sensor for controling light and darkness
use PIR sensor(s) for security as well as light control through x10
commands.
How do i have to connect eg the PIR sensor (working with 12VDC) to
the stamp to check the status of that PIR and to supply the 12V power
Is there a complete security system available for:
wired PIR sensors and contacts, working with 220V/240V AC and able to
output statuses of sensors to the Basic Stamp ??
Is more specific info available on the web ??
