Help! I'm a new user - Trying to learn the programming for the
BS2-IC. I'm building the Experiment #4 in the Robotics Workbook,
version 1.2 - My Board is Rev A - not sure if that matters.
Experiment #4 has to do with Infrared Detection and Object
Avoidance. I'm trying to figure out some way to enhance this
program, but I'm a beginner at programming and need some ideas.
Not looking for anything too fancy - just to build a little on the
experiment as it is in the book.
Any ideas? Also, has anyone got the book yet that just came out
"Programming and Customizing the Basic Stamp" - If so, does it have
any IR experiments in it?
Thanks for your help.

Robotics! curriculum. You can download the new courseware from
www.stampsinclass.com. The entire approach for IR has been
completely revised and is much simpler and more flexible! No more
555 timer circuit is needed! I am fairly new to robotics myself and
found the new curriculum a real help! One idea is to combine
the "whiskers" and "IR" programs.
Hope this helps!

from spinning...?
In the pulseout command enter 750 as the pulse length or have the stamp quit
pulsing all together. Either of those should stop the servo... if neither do
check your servos and check the calibration of the servo's potentiometer, it
could be slightly of center.
