Project help required
Hi,
I'm brand new to the list and have not stamp experience.· I have a project idea in mind.· I wonder if you people have help me.· Basically I have an RS232 serial stream which I want to interpret in real time, do some calculations, and display results on an LCD.· I will need to be able to 'switch' between different LCD display modes (different information) by pressing buttons on a 'console' the console will be fabricated by me and will have the LCD in the center.
What's the easiest way to do this?· If you need more info then please ask away ;)

I think if you check some of the links that get offered up perodically by
the heavy contributors, ( Al, Tracy, Ed, and the rest ) you will see all of
the techniques explained you will need to finish your project, and inspire
many more. ( It did for me ), Anyway www.rentron.com
http://www.al-williams.com/awce/index.htm are good places to start, they
both have lots of projects and info on the types of things your project will
have..... also, there's always http://www.geocities.com/stampic/links.htm
.( The Ultimate Stamp links page )
