About how hot can a basic stamp and carrier board get and still be fully
functional? I'm trying to put my next to a radio that gets VERY hot and I
don't want damage caused by extreme temperatures. So what kind of
temperature is the maximum for it to function at?

The standard PIC16C56 is rated for 0-70 degrees C. Crystals and
ceramic resonators tend to be in the same range. And don't forget
about your power source, if you are using batteries, especially NiCd.
I could be mistake, but I believe Parallax offers (used to offer?) an
industrial version which had a PIC rated at -40 to +85 degrees C.
Has anyone here ever done any tests to see how extreme temperature
(either way) affects the Stamp's timing?
