3-prong plug

The 3-prong adapter plug included in the "What's a Microprocessor" kit
seems to not be long enough on just one side. This adapter is used
to plug the servo to the Board of Education breadboard. The pins
seat just fine on the other end. Any suggestions?

I'm not familiar with the plug and cable, but could you have it reversed
(end-to-end) ??
Grasp the plastic portion of the 3-prong, and press the long end of the pins
down onto a hard surface. The plastic will slide on the prongs--use this to
center the plastic on the pins' length.

the one on Robotics) that shows that you can just push the pins through the
center black strip so they are equal on both sides. I personally tried this
and it did work sort of. They are now equal on both sides, but when you try
to plug them into anything they just slip through the black center piece.
So they are pretty much useless to me. I've been meaning to replace them,
but haven't gotten around to it. For now, I have just plugged jumper wires
from the breadboard to the servo. I know it's a sloppy solution, but at
least I did get the servos to work.
