BS-II and Radio Shack's Digital Voice Rec/Play Chip
If you bought the same chip from radio shack that I did, you bought one outdated IC.· They make MUCH better audio recording chips for less than half the price, and use far less components.· Check digi key for the specs and prices.

Has anybody used the ISxxx chip from Radio Shack with BS-II ? I'm trying to do the following:
Record 2 sec messages and selectively play them using BS-II.
