While I was at the local surplus store today I noticed a rather odd looking
display. I bought it, it was only a buck. It looks to be about a 20 X 2
charactor VFD. It has one board with the panel on it, as well as whole load
of 7400 series logic, and anouth board attached via a flat cable to the
first. This board contains more 74XX logic and a few other parts, on being
a tranformer. There are a few numbers written on it. Here they are.

123S60081 this is on a sticker, probablt a serial no.
F3ED243 this is written in ink on a spot where there is no silkscreen
    151-860004
    NEC-14A

    On the bottom board:

    FD20X2AA-A
307 This is on a little metal sticker with the next # below it
    No. 34764
9020805 On a sicker with a little maple leaf

Can anyone out there give me some info on this? I would like to try and get
    it working,
