I am looking for the individual in basicstamp group who had alot of
experience with force sensors/load cells and had replied to me
offering help. All of my files got erased (installing some bad
software)and I lost your correspondence (dumbest thing I've done this
year). I apologize for losing and forgetting your name, but if your
out there, I'd really appreciate if you could contact me again.
Thanks,
Kay Clifton

I don't know who that individual was, but be sure to check out "The
Pressure, Strain, and Force Handbook" from Omega.com. They have some
decent technical information as well as a broad (and sometimes pricey)
product line. This hardcover handbook is free for the asking -- as well
as any of their other handbooks on Data Acquistion, Flow and Level,
Temperature, pH and Conductivity, etc. The phone is 800-82-OMEGA. My
complete set took about 3 weeks to arrive and weighed about twenty
pounds. You can also get the handbooks on CD.

    Hello Kay,
I'm interested in weighing systems,so I would like also to know individuals
in basicstamp group who have experience with Load Cell.I'm going to build my
first Load Cell based electronic scale with some control using BS2.
I have just received the Evaluation Board of AD7730 A/D for weigh-scales.

    Regards
    Mohamed Refky
