Measuring AC voltage (humidity sensor)

Hello group,
I have a nice (?) humidity hybrid sensor (composed of a humidity sensitive
element and a termistor).
Input voltage: 5 V AC (peak voltage) @ 50 Hz ...1 kHz
Output voltage: 0 ... 0.95 x 5V (ac) for the relative humidity measuring
span.
My questions are:
-Could this sensor work with pulsout or pwm?
-If negative, it is not so hard to obtain 3 V rms to feed the sensor, but...
-How can I measure with a stamp 0...5 V ac ? (It is also important to
measure
from 0 to 0.7 V so I can´t use diodes)
Any help or suggestion will be appreciated.
Tnx very much
