Has anyone turned a Basic Stamp down to 3.3V?

Has anyone turned a Basic Stamp 2 down to 3.3V? I want to make an
extermely lower power, long term test and think that running at 3.3V
and a lower clock speed will buy me more battery life. I know I will
need to change brownout / reset, XTAL, and regulator. Any advise or
suggestions? Thanks, BCS
