Rocker Switch Question

I am trying to wire a lighted rocker switch to my circuit but I
do not know how. I have been unable to find any schematic diagrams
on how the pins are wired to the circuit. The one I bought has three
pins, 2 silver colored, and 1 copper colored. I plan on providing it
with 5 volts. It is rated for 100-125 volts. I am also concerned
that since I am only going to provide it with 5 volts, it may not
light properly. I am new to electric circuits and would appreciate
any feedback.
If there is an easy way to wire a non-lighted rocker switch with
a seperate LED that would also work. I can't use an output from my
stamp to run the LED. I don't have enough I/O ports.
The switch is being used to create either a high or low on a pin
of a 74hc165 IC which is then connected to my Basic Stamp IIsx.
Thank You !!!

Beware that the switch itself is maybe rated 100-125 V, but the light inside
may support another voltage !
Since the switch has only 3 pins, there must be a common pin for the lamp
and the switch. You can check that easily with an ohmmeter.
Best regards,
Phil.
