printer problem

Hello,
I am using version 1.096 of the bs editor with W95 and an
HP882C printer.
When I try to print from the editor window, the printer
goes through the motions but nothing is printed. I just
end up with a blank piece of paper.
I can print to other 'printers' from the bs editor (fax
program, for example) with no problems.
What am I missing here? Has anyone else run into this
problem?

The printer works perfectly with all other programs.
I contacted HP tech support and the answer was "If the
stamp editor is the only program that causes a problem then
the stamp editor is the problem".
I appears that there is some incompatibility between the
stamp editor and the HP882C printer.
As I mentioned, there's a way to get around it but I'd like
to find out why I have such a strange problem.

I use the 1.091 beta version of the Stamp editor, and I don't have any
problem to print on a HP 880C.
It seems strange to me that only the Stamp editor is causing trouble,
because the editor is printing thru the windows driver, which is working
fine with other programs...
When I got this problem, I first look at the ink cartridge, but if it's OK
with other software, I don't have any answer for the moment...
Maybe you may try to force the printer to print grayscale, just to be sure.
I've noticed that sometimes the printout color is a kind of dark blue, not
really black.
I'll let you know if I got more information.
Best regards,
Phil.

The print problem has been solved!
After some experimenting and headscratching I came to the
conclusion that the font color setting in the stamp editor
must be black in order to print.
I used yellow text on a blue background and for some strange
reason the HP882 didn't like what it was getting from the
stamp editor.
I'm back to black text on white background and everything's ok.
