I would like to interface Stamp I and II to Industrial
Insturmentation
using 4 to 20 ma process signals. Can anyone suggest Input and Output
Circuits for this application.

    Hi,

Just an idea : if you connect your 4-20 mA output to a 50 ohms resistor, you
get a 0.2-1.0 volt value that you can read into the Stamp thru an ADC.

    Best regards,

    Philippe Derenne

I'm currently using an Analog Devices AD694 4-20mA Transmitter I.C.
which has either a 0-2Volt or 0-10Volt full scale input as the control
signal. Love the I.C. - its output is extreemly stable. I haven't
interfaced it to a BS2 as yet, but believe that the 0-2V or 0-10V control
signal could be generated from the BS2 via a D/A converter. Try Maxim at
www.maxim-ic.com they have an incredible variety of micro-controler
    interface products.

    Hope this helps,

    Tim
