Hello,

Could anybody say where can I get SPO256 NARRATOR SPEECH
PROCESSOR chip or alternative low cost chip.

Any help greatly appreciated.

    You get the SP0256-AL2 (allophone version) from www.bgmicro.com.

    Try BG Micro www.bgmicro.com - they used to have these.

    Also look at www.quadravox.com if you can stand a
    limited fixed vocabulary [noparse][[/noparse]this is a controller
    chip for ISD chips]. 2 Minutes of addressable vocabulary
    for about $45. [noparse][[/noparse]words at front end of list take less
    time to address than ones at end - plan ahead].

    It seems that bgmicro does not have chip in stock.

    Does anybody know cheep equivalent chip/solution?
