Is this a spray or bath? I always had the impression that it would be a
bath, but when I went to purchase some from a local electronic supply store
the other day, they brought me out a spray can!?

Do you just spray until all the flux, etc. is gone? It seems like there is
so much solvent that just blows off that it's rather wasteful. It does,
however, do a good job.

I've had pretty good luck with isopropyl alcohol (the 91% stuff from the
drug store). Use rather liberally with an acid brush or an old
toothbrush. A well ventilated area is a pretty good idea too.

we usually spray mthe board to get it wet and then use a nylon bristle brush
(toothbrush) to scrub the board and then respray the board to get rid of the
residue. You need to do this as soon as possible (within a few hours dont wait
a couple of days) because the flux gets harder to get rid of the longer it sits
on the board.
Ive used isopropyl alcohol before and find that it too leaves a film on the
traces. So far the best thing I've used to remove flux was one of those Flux
remover sprays. I got it at Jameco, its $8 for a 14oz. Part number MG-414C.

We use it here and it cleans well and leaves no residue or streaks on the board
bath, but when I went to purchase some from a local electronic supply store
