What is an ASC16?

If the ASC16 you are referring to is a 16 channel servo controller, there
are details at http://www.medonis.com/asc16.html including a downloadable
manual in PDF format.

Seemingly it has a TTL-level serial interface, so it should be pretty easy
to interface to a Stamp.
