...Speaking of stepper motors...

I have noticed that there has been a lot of stepper motor questions
latly so here's mine. I have a Stepper with a sticker that reads:
Rotary Digital Actuator Type: MSAE048C68
27 Volt
4 Phase
36 ohm/coil
7.5 deg/step
I wish to find a chip or something that will allow me to drive this
stepper. It looks kinda strong, so I want to use it to do some hefty
work. Can someone please point me in the right direction or provide
some schematics to work off of. I am new to the Stepper Motor world.
Thanks. :-)

He has many informative pages on steppers and drive circuits.
Your motor can be driven by the IRL530N mosfets I mentioned before with a
Stamp...using a 27 volt supply for the motor. The 4 phase is the easiest
type to drive, (also called bipolar).
