OT:Domain name registration

I know this is off topic here but I hope someone on the list can respond
privately to me. I registered a domain name [noparse][[/noparse]windsway.com] several years ago
with InterNIC directly and yesterday I received a FAX from a company
"Electronic Domain Name Monitoring" in Atlanta, GA informing me that someone
is attempting to register windsway.net. If I answered the FAX within 5 days
saying I was opposed to the registration, EDNM would register windsway.net
in my name. I get the gut feeling this is a scam. How long will it be before
'someone' trys to register windsway.org and I need to quickly respond to
EDNM to save it for me. Since there can be quite a few variations on the
windsway.xxx and because I have another domain name registered, I can see
endless needs poping up to SAVE multiple variations of each of my domain
names.

Does anyone know about this EDNM operation? If you can fill me in, please
answer me privately so as not to take up bandwidth here. Any info would be
useful.
