I ran across this by accident. But Dallas semiconductor makes a
DS1267 digital pot. It comes in 10k, 50k and 100kohm variety's
This is in response to Matthews article and there is one from
parallax that is good for experimenting with called an X9313 and used
in experiment 6 under "whats a microcontroller" should help.
