need help

I just recently bought a basic2 kit,board,stamp,cable etc.
I've installed the the software ,wrote my first program went to
run the program and i'm getting a error it said that it detect the
stamp on com 1 but theres no power
The program said it was tokeized final or what ever
But nothing happens on the board.
Checked battary,connection,reset the com,redownload program,rechecked
the codes that I put in to make my led blink
still nothing any input?
yes the battary is good and green power light is on

I have experience this once.... but after i changed to
a new battary the problem solved. I think may be your
battary is weak (although the green power light is
on)...try a new battary!!!!
