Hello all,
·I am trying to install a smart card access system
to the main door of our office, however I can't find
a weatherproof smartcard reader.· I need something
that can be exposed to the elements. does anyone know
of such a reader, or a company that would sell such a thing.
thanks,

You have indicated that you are using Dallas iButtons (and I presume you
have done so with a Stamp as the Master in the MicroLAN). Are you willing to
part with the information on how you interfaced the BSII to the Dallas
1-Wire protocol? I believe that it should be relatively easy (!) using the
DS2480B Serial line driver, but as I am unable to get my hands on one of
these chips here in Australia at the moment, I am left wondering...and
waiting for Dallas Semiconductor to get back to me.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Lance.
