Stamp software versions?

Sorry, I typoed in the extra "2" before the "w". Beta 1.096 appears to be
the latest released version of stampw.exe. I have no idea when the program
will get out of "beta"! The DOS versions are
stamp.exe for the stamp 1
stamp2.exe for the stamp 2
stamp2sx for the stamp2sx

FYI, the 1.096 beta is the first release that supports the new BS2e.
The BS2e is like the BS2SX, in that it has 16kbytes of program memory
organized into 8 banks of 2k each, and it has 63 bytes of scratchpad RAM.
It differs from the BS2SX in that it runs at 20 mhz instead of 50mhz, in
order to minimize power consumption and to maintain complete compatability
with the timings of the original 20mhz BS2. (You will know it, if those
factors are important to you!) There is also a DOS version of the BS2e
software (STAMP2e.exe), but I don't see it listed currently on the Parallax
web site. The BS2e module comes on a bright red circuit board.
