ADXL IC Availibility

I have been working with the ADXL202 acelerometer for a while and finally
seemed to have tamed it to my satisfaction. I have been using the ADXL202EB
for my experiments. I do not like the connector that the EB uses and have
drafted up a PCB so that I can have the ADXL my way. BUT, and there is
always a but, to buy small quantities of the ADXL202 IC is not cost
effective. The distributors that findchips.com finds want at least $30 for
the critter. This is what Crossbow gets for the EB. Where can I get these
critters in 1-10 units for less money. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
TIA
Vic
