Dear Stampers....

As many of us are into low power, remote control systems, I though
some of you may have experience with small wind generators, either
commercial or home-made.

Any info would be appreciated!

    Hi Tim,

    What kind of information do you want about wind generators?

    Two sources of low-power DC machines are:
    Northern Tool (formerly Northern Hydraulic) and Wind Baron of Flagstaff
    AZ. They range from 200 to 600 peak watts.

    Both sources sell only upwind, horizontal axis machines. If you want a
    vertical axis, you will probably have to build it yourself....a very
    rewarding project.

    Well, sorta, but in reverse. It uses wind to make electricity instead of
    electricity to make wind.
