Hi
I've just started with basicstamps, but have some questions please!
I started with assembling the OEM BS1 - Rev A, and I would like to know the
following: can I use the PBASIC 1.4 interpreter chip (of the basic stamp1)
with this stamp version or must I use the PBASIC1/P interpreter chip, or are
they the same?!? Because I tried it but got the following message :
"EEPROM connot be verified".
Can anyone please assist me, just to get my own stamp running!?!
I'm from S.A. and the interpreter chips are not available.
Thank You
Bernard

I am new and i just purchase the Stamp2 book and i am on the process
of starting the Tele-Alert Project. I am still waiting for most of my
parts to arrive before i start to build the Tele-Alert system but in
the mean time i was viewing the program and i am having difficulties
comprehending the commands. Where in the CD-ROM can i find the
detailed program because i am currently having problems opening the
cell2.BS2. Also how can i download the Stampw onto my microcontroller.
Lastly since it is my first time using a Microcontroller i have no
idea how to configure a pin into an input or output? Do i have to do
it by programming or just set as input/output.
Thank you for your help,
Zuwena
You should probably start with "What's a Microcontroller?" and work your
way through that before moving on to bigger projects. It will help you
with getting StampW setup on your PC and show you how to download
projects to your BASIC Stamp.
