There is worked out 4 and 8 bit code in my book Microcontroller Projects

hello all,

I have a lcd display, that works parallel. I've seen many examples of lcd
displays, but they where serial.

I'm looking for example code, that makes my lcd work! I believe there's a 4
bit mode, and a 8 bit mode for the lcd display (controller hitachi 44780).

For both modes i'm very interested!!
