Hello,
I have a couple of quick questions:
1. Is there a CD-ROM out there that has a library
of all IC Chips - like common ones - (555 Timer)
and all of the manufacturers, and equivalent
part numbers that they use as well?
2. What is a good entry-level scope? I know that
speed affects the price radically. Eventually
I would love to get my hands on a GHz capable
scope - but that is off a ways. HP - Fluke?
Refurbished?
Thank you in advance for any information that you
can offer.
Best Regards,
Mike

Try IC-MASTER if you want to spend the money, or use the various
Internet
resources, if not. Search for "CHIPDIR" for the various sites carrying
GIICM which is the Internet version of what you are requesting.

That a VERY long topic. It all starts with -
How much money are you willing to spend ?
What will you be using it for.
