Help ! Need information about Stamp 1 Communication

Hello all,

Can anybody tell me where to find information about how to program and read
debug out from Basic stamp1?
(Not using the stamp.exe..) I want to write a program in VB to communicate
with a stamp1.

Any help greatly appreciated.
