Hi,

I need to control a few pots on a piece of gear remotely and rather than
using motor driven pots I would prefer to use some sort of IC.

Does anyone have any ideas of pointers?

    Dallas Seminconductor (www.dalsemi.com) has digital pots.

    Xicor has a whole family of digital pots and will send you up to 10 for a
    free trial. Check them out at http://www.xicor.com
