connecting to Wirz LCD

Hello,
I am having trouble finding a 10 pin header (2 X 5) the cable, and a
crimper to connect the Wirz LCD to my stamp. I am sure Newark has it. I
just can't find it.
Thanks,
Heath Lovell

I soldered a single row 5 pin header to the outer row of pins on the Wirz
board and plugged a 5 pin IDC receptacle onto it. If I recall correctly,
you only need the inner row for backlight connections, (if your LCD has
one). My LCD had two separate solder pads that I soldered leads to for the
backlight.
If you are interested in this approach, the receptacle is part number
A19053-ND from DigiKey, ($3.60 for 25). It is an IDC connector that you can
force #28 flex wire into with a screwdriver, (I don't have the "official"
tool for IDCs).
