The Attached photo of a·BSII module built ala PLC style for another customer customer is not available, as this batch or lot of building block modules was built for their exclusive use.

Do not fret though, a Revision B will be available in about 2-3 weeks. (LCD's not inclued.)

The following·is a list of Features are used·in both versions.
Revision B has over 150 Parts which make up this module.

5 volt Switching Regulator: This results in high efficiency and low heat when converting from 24 VDC to 5 volts.
1.5 Amp Capacity· @ 5 volts, is available should one wish to use a power hungry VFD Display with this module.

TO-92 Darlingtons are used·as open collector outputs with flyback diodes on the board for·protection against inductive spikes. 500 ma capacity nominal for outputs.

Inputs are easily configured to use with both flavors of industrial 24 volt sensors both PNP and NPN.· Sensors will derive their power from the sensor input connections. There is no need to assemble a large section of DIN Rail terminal blocks to distribute power to Sensors.· A DIN Rail fuse block is recommended to power up this module.

The Inputs will also accept 2 wire switches and various photo transistor or hall effect sensors with open collectors.

The LCD output connector is configured pin for pin to mate with a Scott Edwards Serial LCD Backpack Interface. Thus the connector has 5 pins set up as +5, Gnd, Serial Out, Gnd, +5 for pin order. Identical to the LCD Serial Backpack. Its hard to improve on such a good device interface.
