2 db9 males and soldered them crosswired
It works fine, I am just looking for one

They make custom cable. You can get a pretty good price if you can convince
them you are not just a regular consumer but a reseller instead. I
occasionally moonlight with some network computer consulting and through
that I was able to get the reseller pricing. I don't know where you are
located, but in most any large city you can find a company that will produce
custom computer cables.

Hi Bob,
The HP200LX cable gave me the same problem, and I couldn't find a ready
made solution either. So I had some circuit boards fabricated to map the
pins across, and to fit inside a nice a commercial plastic clamshell. I
have some of those left. Contact me off list if you are interested.
Alternatively, an M/F null modem followed by a low profile M/M gender
changer will do the job, from Radio Shacke etc.

B & B electronics makes a 9 - 9 adapter with a little board inside
that you can solder jumpers onto to make any kind of circuit you
want. I just saw it in their catalog last night. Comes in M-M, F-F,
and M-F versions too.
