Using Stamp Plot Lite With the Basic Stamp 1

I recently purchased a Stamp 1 and am having fun learning its
capabilities. Has anyone figured out how to program the Stamp 1 to
send data to the Stamp lite program ?. I can get THEM TO "talk" but
its gibberish. Help !

You can't use the Stamp 1 with Stamp Plot Lite. The reason is that it is
setup to take data at 9600 baud -- too fast for the Stamp 1. And it takes
serial data. The Stamp 1 debug is not a standard serial string like on the
Stamp 2.

There is a "pro" version coming soon. Perhaps it will allow slower baud
rates. If so, you may be able to user SEROUT commands to send the data to
it. Stamp Plot requires specific formatting and was really targeted at the
Stamp 2.
