    Hi All,
I am working on a project that needs to generate a 'bit
syncrhonization' signal with respect to a communication line. To
generate the synchronization signal I want to sample the incoming
line every 3.1625 micro seconds to detect any change. Once a change
has been detected on the line a counter will tick and on the middle
of the count will assert a clkout signal. At the end of count it will
deassert the clkout. Now this boils down to polling the line ever
3.1625 microseconds. I am not sure if I can poll in Basic Stamp every
3.1625 microseconds. If I am not mistaken, the granularity is in
    millisecond range. Any suggestions please.

    Regards,
    -Romit

    Hi!
You will need analog to digital converter like AD0831, on Stamp Works
book from Parallax (you can download it) experiment # 27 "voltage measurement"
page 163 there is experimentation and explanation about all of it.

    Enjoy
    Rene

    hello,

i am new to basic stamps and all the stuff. i was
wondering whether the basic stamp reads anolog or
digital input. and how we can connect the sensors that
were placed on the floor to it. and also how output
pin is connected to PC as PC should have the sensors
outputs to process. anyone please help me.

The best advice anyone can give is to read the manual.

Most of those questions are explained in depth and with examples.

Not sure how the PC otutput to the process works, but by the time you
understand how the Stamp works, you will have figured that out as
    well.
