It is where the list server is placing the line. True on most lists it is
placed at the end of the message. On this list it is placed in the header
which is kind of neat because you do not have to look at it in each
message, but turn on headers and there it is if you need it.

    I subscribe to the [noparse][[/noparse]stampinclass[noparse][[/noparse] list, and on my system the unsubscribe
    message always appears at the bottom of those messages, but never at the
    bottom of the messages I receive from [noparse][[/noparse]basicstamps]. Maybe it is a setting
    in some kind of personal profile at egroups.

    Oh, yes! I hadn't read the header at all carefully. Yes, see the
    unsubscribe message there now. On the stampsinclass list, it appears both
    in the header, and as a separate line at the end of every message.
