Using a Basic Stamp to switch RS-232

I am interested in any suggestions for using the Stamp at a remote
site that is modem accessed. At this site will be three RS-232
devices that I would like the ability to communicate with via the
single modem connection. I am considering using a DTMF decoder to
trigger the Stamp to do the serial switching. I believe the Stamp
will be required to control some type of bi-directional switch. I am
aware of a device offered by Black-Box that will do what I need but
these are out of my price range at about $350.00 each. I would
greatly appreciate any ideas.
Thank You

no monitor. the PC gets data and saves it to hard drive or floppy and
you call the pc and download the data or it calls you. Use the stamp
for something. are these devices going to use all lines of the modem
or are they like stamp projects where there is input and output only
this could be switched with relays.
