My big victory will be when I can do phase angle firing control of
back-to-back SCR's with stamp output.
<<
Well, the stamp is too slow for that. I did a four channel dimmer
using 3 amp DC controlled Velleman dimmer kits from Jameco [pn 128901
@$20] and driving their dc 0-5 volt phase control inputs from opamp
integrated PWM signals from the stamp. It works well. The schematic
of the kit is on the Jameco website and they sell the unusual IC
used for about $5.,.
There are 1 amp triacs optoisolated [Digikey, Mouser] - a DIP
package that has the opto driver for the triac in it.
Good luck.
