Bill,
If you wanted to drive optos from all the Stamp pins, you would run out of
drive current. Opto-isolators use around 5-10 mA to drive. You would need
to use a buffer so the stamp could handle the load. Pick an opto with the
right "personality" maybe something in the MOC30xx group. There are lots of
choices available. I did get a couple of toes stuck in my mouth on my last
message. I said the optos are available 1,2 or 4 in a package. That's
usually only the case with low voltage optos. The ones for SCRs & triacs
usually come one per.
