Hi all,
I have a Scott Edward 2x16 Serial LCD and I want to know how to do custom
characters using my BS2 (please no code for a BS1, I only have BS2's). I
read the LCD's instructions but I am still a bit unsure on how to make a
custom characters. Any help would be great, code with notes on how to edit
it to meet my need would be great! Thanks in advance!

seetron.com web site. Download the file www.seetron.com/bpk_ex1.zip
and look at the program spechar.bs2 for the simplest example.
Also see www.seetron.com/an_cc1.htm for an online bitmap calculator
(draw the symbol on screen, then copy the bitmap data into your
program.
More? OK, www.seetron.com/an_bar1.htm shows a simple way to use the
custom-character capability to draw bar graphs. And
www.seetron.com/an_odo1.htm presents a program that creates a
vertically scrolling odometer-effect (an animation on the page shows
how it looks--hard to describe).
Look around the app-note index at www.seetron.com/lcd_andex.htm for
more example programs and background information.
Quick commercial note: BPI-216N is on sale for almost 20% off at the
Seetron online store--see www.seetron.com for details.

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
have one0. Go to the parallax website and then stamp works to get some
code to run it. Just make sure you connect everything properly, I'd
suggest you put a 5k pot on the contrast line.

a COLOR LCD for it, id like 100 x 100 If Possible
CPU and memory resources to deal with the complexities of a color display.
Check out http://www.earthlcd.com/ they often sell color LCDs that were left
over from cell phone production runs. I've been wanting to get one and try
to interface it the stamp but I just haven't gotten around to it.
