IDE Hard Drive

Is it possible to communicate with an IDE (or any other type) of hard
drive using a stamp? If so, I'd like to know any information on how
this can be done. I'd also be interested in hearing of any other
mass storage devices that could be used with a stamp. Just a thought.

It is possible, I have done it, but the stamp is much to slow to do much
    more than 100 bytes/second max.

Best bet find the Ata-3 specs

I'd still like to know how you did it though.
