I just bought the serial lcd from wirz. I was wondering how to connect it
to the serial i/o board. I see how they fit together, but do I just soder
the pins on the lcd to the serial i/o control board? Thanks for the help

    Heath:
I just did the same with a Wirz serial board & display from MPJ. The Wirz
board is made to interface several LCD pinouts, so make sure you match pin 1
on the board to pin 1 on the LCD, (they should both be labeled). I used
several layers of double sided tape between to distribute stress, and made
sure the spacing was enough to provide a little clearance between to prevent
shorts. That's all to it, just solder the pins, and you can cut off excess
    pin length when done.

Although (as I recall) the pinout arrangement for the <serial input>
connector on the wirz board is *not* obvious...I think I wired it wrong the
first time. Be sure you understand the relationship between the two rows on
this header, and double check it. It's not the same as the Scott Edward's
    board.

That's true, I forgot to mention the input connector. MPJ sent me a data
sheet from Wirz. The input connector is J1 on the end. If you don't have
the data sheet, let me know and I can give you the pinout. I assume we are
talking about the Wirz OEM board.
