To all:
When I opened the file from e-lab announcing the new ICs, I got a virus
alert from Norton. It called it a trojan horse, unrepairable file. It was
called "kak.hta". It was successfully quarantined and deleted. Someone
must be messing around with Todd's email.

    Ray -

Indeed there are problems, and they are shutting down any future mailings
    until
the problems get fixed. The SOURCE of the problem is NOT E-Labs (per se),
    it is
the Embedded Design mailing list facility that they are using. I, for one,
AM subscribed to that journal, and I suspect that may be true of many
    others who are
or may soon be experiencing these problems.

I will forward a copy of this message back to E-Labs for their files.

    Regards,

    Bruce

fwiw, I receive a copy about an hour ago, and deleted it successfully without
    adverse effects. (phew)

We checked out the site that Randy posted about the virus "kak.hta" They
said the virus effects win98 with Outlet express 5, which I have. I think I
am OK, thanks to Norton, but if anyone runs this software, they better get
    scanned for the virus.

    Thanks,
