I will GUESS that your 'non-delivery' message 'from Yahoo' might
actually be an automated 'out-of-office' message from one of the
subscribers. SOMEDAY the internet will figure out a way to eliminate
such idiotic mass replies to distributiuon lists!

and I'll NOW suggest that each and every ONE of you who have posted
recently have gotten a non-delivery message from Yahoo - about a
Prodigy account in Mexico that is no being found.

(at least that is what MY error message said)

Sorry for the test message, but it seems, from looking on the yahoo web
site, that there have been a number of messages today, and I haven't
    received any of them...

Infact, according to Yahoo - I've missed 3 days of posts...

Thought it seemed a bit quiet...

Now sifting through the messages on line... :-(

Hello again from Gregg C Levine
Ben, while you are reviewing those messages, I suggest you also review
your bounce history. If it indicates that there was indeed a few, as is
the probably the case, contact the folks who manage the ISP which serves
your domain name, and lodge a complaint. Also check the status for your
mail servers, that also might have caused the bounces.

    Hi ya Gregg,

    >hansolofalcon

    Ben "O B 1" here...

I did a test email to myself, and it came right back OK. Still
haven't received any Stamp emails (replying to this one online),
so I think my domain hosting server/pop server is acting up.
Unfortunately, they are in Masterton, and I'm in Wellington, and
    tomorrow is a holiday...
Have emailed them anyway, as this has happened a few times
    before.

Anyway, now to do some work on my stamp controlled cassette
    deck.

Stamp controlled CASSETTE deck????? Who the, what the,
WHY???? I hear you all say... :-)

    I'm a crazy Kiwi, I guess. :-)

    Ben, Windy Wellington, New Zealand.

Same here and at several other places, and it covers all of Yahoo! Groups
    and Yahoo! Stores mail.

Word I have is that excessive spam from Yahoo! Stores accounts plus a
denial of service attack on Road Runner resulted in a coordinated blocking
of assorted Yahoo mail. It's my impression that the DoS "attack" was a
case of Yahoo mail servers not taking NO for an answer when mail from
Yahoo! Stores was refused. Here, and probably there, mail from Yahoo!
Groups was also blocked along with mail from Yahoo! Stores to assure a
    quick reaction from Yahoo.

Expect this to happen again - but much worse - if Yahoo doesn't clean out
that nest of spammers they host in Yahoo! Stores and doesn't train their
mail servers to understand that NO means NO, not "try again in 10 seconds."
