Hello all !
I am just about to go crazy cause I am using the BS II
for quite a long time and suddenly yesterday when I
tryed to download my code to the stamp a message came
out saying: " basic stamp II detected but not
corresponding to COM 1, check power supply "
Unfortunatelly that was not the problem and allthough
I tryed a fresh new 9V battery the same message comes
out and stamp not responding ! The same stamp IC has
been succefully used before. I am using the stamp to
controll my servos driven robot and I use a 6V battery
pack for the servos and a 9V battery for the stamp. I
am using Win 98 and I also tryed to reduce the baud
rate of the com port I am using for the stamp but this
still didn't work.
Is it possible that the EEPROM is gone dead after the
many times I reprogrammed it ? Shouldn't I get a
message on the stamp editor (new Windows environment)I
am using ? Is it possible that the Voltage regulator
is burnt somehow ? How can I check ???
Sorry for the long message, help me please :-(
Thanks
Antony
